Annual Notices

Each year, the Cooperative Corporation is required by NYC law to distribute and collect information regarding window guards, fire safety and lead paint to all residents. Last year, we utilized the services of a company to mail and collect these notices. It was felt that it would help reduce the workload on the office staff and be a more efficient way of monitoring compliance. While well intentioned, the system did not achieve the desired results at Castle Village.

This year, we reverted to distributing and collecting the forms in-house. You received them a couple of weeks ago and many of you have returned them already, thank you. It has been brought to our attention that you have received duplicate copies of the annual notices via the service that mailed them out last year. Please disregard the notices received from the service and the instructions to return them via mail. The mailing was done in error and Castle Village will not be charged for this mistake.

We take this opportunity, however, to remind you to return the Lead paint and Window Guard Notices to the management office as soon as possible but no later than February 15. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
