Starting Monday April 26th, L&Z Building Restoration will start mobilizing to start the next phase of exterior masonry work at your building by erecting sidewalk bridging over the entire front entrance and along the south side of the building. Scaffolding will be rigged from the roof along the lines where work is proposed. Exterior masonry work will commence on the 5 and 6-lines the following week and will progress southward to the 2 and 3-lines. The work is meant to address mandated Local Law 11 repairs as well as reported leak conditions in these areas. Periodic construction updates will advise where the contractor intends to work. There will be periods of loud demolition as the workers move from drop to drop. To avoid dust infiltration into your apartment, occupants near areas where work is being done should keep their windows closed. Work will start at 8:00am and will close at 5:30pm Monday thru Friday. If necessary, quiet work will be allowed on Saturday.
