CV CONNECTIONS for Mid June 2009
Saturday, July 11 – TENT NIGHT REDEUX (rain date July 18)
Twilight ‘til Sun-up, $25 per family
CV residents are invited to camp out under the stars – bring your own sleeping bag, flashlight and, if you choose to pitch, your tent. Storytellers and Stargazers are encouraged to share their gifts with eager ears! The following morning, breakfast will be provided for campers from 7-8AM. Interested families should register with Sasha in the main office. (Those who signed up, but are unable to camp this night, should contact Sasha for a refund)
We’ve started informal gatherings of neighbors with the first meeting of the CV Bridge Group. Those interested in playing contract bridge should send an e-mail to CC Blackburn at carolynblackburn@hotmail.com, or leave word with the 120 Doorman. (Note: while no CV classes are currently available, with enough interest, we can engage an instructor – let CC know). Other ideas: Mah Jong, Book Group, Crafting – if you’re interested in gathering a group of neighbors, contact Sasha.
