Recycling Tips
There are many aspects of recycling – paper, glass, plastic, bulk items (furniture). Bulk items must be placed on the curb on Wednesday after 5 pm for Thursday morning pick-up. If the item (such as a sofa bed) contains metal, then the metal has to be removed so it can be recycled. Cardboard boxes can be placed in the compactor room if they are collapsed and tied together otherwise have to be placed in the basement.

If you click on an item (hyperlink) under “What to Recycle?” you’ll see a chart for each type of receptacle. You can also just scroll down the page or search the site for an item. Plastic containers are and should be placed in the blue containers.
